Keep dog food storage simple and traceable

Keep dog food storage simple and traceable

A consistent storage routine helps you preserve label information and notice when something changes.

Start with the setting

Follow the storage directions and keep batch and best-before information. Clean storage equipment before adding a new supply.

Make the routine practical

Close food appropriately and keep it away from pests, heat and moisture. Follow opened-food refrigeration instructions where they apply.

Review and adapt

Use the stock planner with measured daily use. A stock estimate does not extend a product’s safe storage period.

Keep a useful record

Write down what you tried, what changed and what you want to ask next. Community discussion can share experience, while individual health or behavior concerns need appropriately qualified help.
